Honorary Members

Over the years, the Club has had many extraordinary members who have made great contributions. A few are mentioned here in no particular order, and more will be included soon.

Pamela Marshall

Pamela plays horn beautifully, but we knew her best as a composer. Members of the Club have played her compositions many times. In addition, she was the Club’s first webmaster. This website owes its existence to her tireless work.

Claudia Struble

Claudia is an extremely talented pianist who performed most often for the Club with her duo partner, violinist Barbara Oren. In addition to her excellent playing, she is an expert skier and mountain climber.

Judy Goldner

Judy is a fine and accomplished pianist who has made chamber music her life’s passion. She has collaborated in many different chamber music ensembles and in many workshops in the Boston area.

Elizabeth Whitfield

Elizabeth Whitfield is an accomplished violinist who was also the concertmaster of the Lexington Symphony for over 25 years.  She led the orchestra with excellent musicianship and a great dose of British humor.

Elizabeth Landman

Elizabeth Landman taught generations of children Suzuki piano with patience and love.  Her pianistic contributions to the Lexington Music Club will be remembered with fondness.

Marilyn Abel

Marilyn Abel combined many musical threads into her life, she taught music and movement to very young children, sang beautifully, and was a serious pianist.  She shared her talents and sweet nature with the Music Club for many years.
