We strongly recommend wearing a mask in both the public concert hall and at private meetings, since many of our members and in our audience remain cautious about gatherings. People of all ages will be attending, including some with health conditions.
Covid History
At the start of the pandemic, our annual Public Concert on March 14, 2020 in support of the Lexington High School Scholarship Fund was cancelled.
During the pandemic, the Lexington Music Club continued to perform for each other as best we can over Zoom. The sound quality may have been lacking and we limited ourselves to solos and maybe duos, but we found needed camaraderie in these Zoom meetings. The chance to make music at all has been so worthwhile. As vaccines were developed and our understanding improved, we’ve gone back cautiously to meeting in person. Our members and our community have been wonderfully caring about wearing masks and distancing.
